She worked as a sports marketing executive for World League of American Football and International Basketball Association franchises, and was a sports reporter for Sports Illustrated and the Los Angeles Times. Born Lisa Coles Guerrero on April 9, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois, USA, to Walter Coles and Lucy Guerrero, her father is of English descent, and her mother is Chilean. She spent her growing years in San Diego and Huntington Beach, California. She started her show-business career as a cheerleader in the 1980s for the Los Angeles Rams. In 2004, she married former Baltimore Orioles and Minnesota Twins pitcher, Scott Erickson.
