She is host of Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News and is Global Markets editor at Fox Business Network as well as the host of Mornings with Maria and Wall Street Week with Maria Bartiromo. Before joining CNBC television, she worked at CNN for five years. She co-hosted the Closing Bell. Born Maria Sara Bartiromo on September 11, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York, to Josephine and Vincent Bartiromo, she grew up in the Dyker Heights section of Brooklyn in New York City. She has a sister and a brother. She attended and graduated from New York University, where she majored in journalism and minored in economics. Since June 13, 1999, she has been married to Jonathan Steinberg, chief executive officer of WisdomTree Investments.
