Paul Guilfoyle is an American actor of film and television. He is best known for his portrayal of L.V.P.D. Captain James “Jim” Brass in the CBS police drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Other memorable television appearances include lead, recurring and guest starring roles on Miami Vice, Law & Order, Wiseguy, New York Undercover, Ally McBeal and Justice League Unlimited as Travis Morgan, the Warlord. He has also played prominent roles in the films Howard the Duck, Wall Street, Celtic Pride, Beverly Hills Cop II, Quiz Show, Final Analysis, Hoffa, Mrs. Doubtfire, Air Force One, Striptease, Amistad, The Negotiator, Extreme Measures, Session 9, Primary Colors, and L.A. Confidential. Born Paul Vincent Guilfoyle on April 28, 1949 in Boston, Massachusetts, Guilfoyle was educated at Boston College High School and attended Lehigh University. He studied acting as a member of the Actor’s Studio in New York. Guilfoyle made his feature film debut in the Howard the Duck (1986) and his series TV debut in Crime Story (1986). In 1989, Guilfoyle married choreographer and aerial artist Lisa Giobbi. Together they have one child.
