Trevor Ariza is an American professional basketball player who plays as Forward for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association. He won an NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009. Ariza played college basketball for one season with the UCLA Bruins and was drafted 43rd overall in the 2004 NBA draft by the New York Knicks. He previously played for the New York Knicks (2004–2006), Orlando Magic (2006–2007), Los Angeles Lakers (2007–2009), Houston Rockets (2009–2010);(2014–2018), New Orleans Hornets (2010–2012), Washington Wizards (2012–2014);(2018–2019), Phoenix Suns (2018) and Sacramento Kings (2019–2020). Born Trevor Anthony Ariza on June 30, 1985 in Miami, Florida, to parents Lolita Ariza and Trevor Saunders, his youngest brother, Tajh Ariza, died after falling out of a hotel room window in Caracas, Venezuela in March 1996. He is married to Bree Anderson. He is the father of three children.
