Dondré Whitfield is an American actor. He is best known for portraying Terrence Frye on the ABC Daytime soap opera All My Children from 1991 to 1994. He has also starred in a number of short-lived sitcoms such as The Crew, Between Brothers, and Hidden Hills. He has also appeared in the films Two Can Play That Game, The Salon, Pastor Brown, and Middle of Nowhere. In 2015, he joined the cast of BET reality comedy series Real Husbands of Hollywood. In 2016, Whitfield began starring in the Oprah Winfrey Network drama series Queen Sugar. Born Dondré Terrell Whitfield on May 27, 1969 in Brooklyn, New York, he was raised by his mother, Vonda Bembry along with his brother. Whitfield attended the Performing Arts High School in New York City. He began his television career appearing in the recurring role as Robert Foreman on the NBC sitcom The Cosby Show. He has been married to actress Salli Richardson since September 8, 2002. Together they have two children: a daughter and a son.
