Vanna White is an American actress and television personality. She is most famous as the hostess of the game show, Wheel of Fortune. She began appearing on the show in 1982, replacing Susan Stafford. She was a contestant in the Miss Georgia 1978 pageant before her appearance on television in 1980. She was among first four contestants on an episode of The Price Is Right. Her film credits include Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult, Double Dragon, and Graduation Day. Born Vanna Marie Rosich on February 18, 1957 in Conway, South Carolina, to Joan Marie and Miguel Angel Rosich, she was raised by her mother and her stepfather, Herbert White.
