Ana de Armas is a Cuban actress. She is best known for her portrayal of Carolina Leal Solís in the Spanish television drama-thriller El Internado (2007–2010). She also played Nerea in the television series Hispania, la leyenda (2010–2012). Ana has also starred in such films as Una rosa de Francia (2006), Knock Knock (2015), Exposed (2016), War Dogs (2016), Hands of Stone (2016), Blade Runner 2049 (2017), and Three Seconds (2019). For her work in Blade Runner 2049, she was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. Born Ana Celia de Armas Caso on April 30, 1988, in Santa Cruz del Norte, Cuba, she was raised in Havana, Cuba. She attended and graduated from National Theatre School of Havana. She moved to Spain at the age of 19. She made her acting debut in the 2006 Spanish film Una rosa de Francia. She was married to Spanish actor Marc Clotet from 2011 to 2013.
