He released his debut studio album, Lace Up, in October 2012, which yielded the singles “Wild Boy”, “Invincible”, “Stereo”, and “Hold On (Shut Up)”, debuted #4 on the US Billboard 200 chart. He won ‘Woodie of the Year’ from mtvU Woodie Awards 2013. As an actor, he made his film debut in the 2014 romantic drama Beyond the Lights. In 2018, he starred as Felix in Netflix’s Bird Box.
