Vado is an American hip hop recording artist, best known for his collaboration with the Harlem-based hip hop group U.N. (Us Now). In 2011, Vado released a joint album with Cam’ron called Gunz n’ Butta, which reached the Billboard 200. Vado has appeared on different VH1 shows, like Black Ink Crew and Love & Hip Hop. He has also appeared on Lil Wayne’s Dedication 5 and DJ Khaled’s Suffering from Success. In December 2013, Vado released a new single ‘Look Me In My Eyes’, featuring Rick Ross and French Montana. Born Teeyon Winfree on March 13, 1985 in Harlem, New York, he is of Jamaican, St. Vincent, and African American descent. Vado first started writing at 16 and was influenced by Cam’ron, Ma$e, and Big L. At the age of 19, Vado performed on a public access television show called “Mad Ciphas”.
