Wilfried Klaus is a German television actor. He is best known for portraying Kriminalhauptkommissar Horst Schickl in the police procedural SOKO München from 1978 to 2008. Born on July 8, 1941 in Bernau am Chiemsee, Germany, his mother was a teacher. After school, Klaus took private acting lessons with Ruth von Zerboni in Gauting from 1958 to 1960. He made his stage debut at the Munich Volkstheater in 1960. He lives with his second wife Vera on a farm in Lower Bavaria.
